Agreement to Terms

Welcome to PrepMate. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PrepMate website and mobile application (collectively, the "Service"), operated by PrepMate ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and to immediately notify us if your password is lost, stolen, or if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. You are solely responsible for any activities or actions that occur under your account.

Use of the Service

Permitted Use

You may use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use only. The Service is designed to assist with resume creation, interview preparation, and career advancement.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Impersonate another person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or computer systems connected to the Service
• Use the Service to transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
• Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent
• Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms

Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of PrepMate and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

User Content

The Service may allow you to post, upload, or transmit content ("User Content"). You retain all rights to your User Content, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and providing the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting or publishing it. By posting User Content, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to post such User Content
• The User Content does not infringe on any intellectual property or other rights of any third party
• The User Content does not violate these Terms or any applicable law

Mobile Application Terms

By using our mobile application, you agree:

• To only use the app on devices that you own or are authorized to use
• To comply with all applicable third-party terms of agreement (e.g., your mobile service carrier's terms)
• Not to use the app in a way that distracts you from obeying traffic or safety laws
• That we are not responsible for third-party services that you access through our app

Subscription and Payment Terms

Some aspects of the Service may be offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:

• Payment must be made in advance for the subscription period selected
• Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for subscription fees
• Refunds are subject to our refund policy, which may be updated from time to time

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact us to request account deletion.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall PrepMate, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

PrepMate does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service or servers are free of viruses or other harmful components.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PrepMate is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
